Differences between MIFARE Desfire EV3 2K and MIFARE Desfire EV3 4K
Storage Capacity: As the names suggest, the Desfire EV3 2K is equipped with 2KB of non-volatile memory, while the Desfire EV3 4K has 4KB. The latter can store more data and support more or more complex applications.
Application Capacity Potential: Both support a maximum of 32 files per application, and file sizes are determined at creation time. Therefore, compared to the Desfire EV3 2K, the Desfire EV3 4K, with its larger memory, can support more applications with the same file size.
Cost Difference: Generally, the production cost of the Desfire EV3 4K is higher than that of the Desfire EV3 2K.
